KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saint Joseph's College guard Chad Pulkkinen (Windham, Maine) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
In a 1-1 week, Pulkkinen averaged 19.5 points per game and shot 81 percent from the free throw line. He chipped in 21 points and three rebounds in a 73-53 win over Husson College and added 18 points in a loss to Colby. Pulkkinen, who is coached by Rob Sanicola, was named to The Maine Event All-Tournament Team.
