STANDISH, ME - St. Joe's won their fourth straight contest as they defeated the visiting Albertus Magnus College Falcons, 85-63, on Thursday night. The Monks JR Elbie Murphy (Loudonville, NY) scored a game-high 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and 5 steals in the victory. With the win, St. Joe's improves to 5-4, 3-1 in GNAC play, on the season. The Falcons fall to 0-10 in 2007-08.

Monks sophomore forward Ray Eatmon (Huntington, NY) scored 17 points, went 6-8 from the free throw line, and blocked 3 shots in the game. Sophomore guard Alberto Rue (Jamaica Plain, MA) added 13 points and junior point guard Scot Vachon (Schenectady, NY) scored 10 points and dealt out 7 assists in the victory. Freshman forward Chris Davis (New York, NY) scored 9 points and notched 6 rebounds off the bench.

JR Sha'ron Young (New Haven, CT) led the Falcons with 15 points followed by JR Bobby Leonzo (East Haven, CT) with 13 points.
