FARMINGTON, ME - Saint Joseph's College traveled to Farmington to take on the UM-Farmington Beavers in the team's season opener and, despite a comeback bid, fell short 64-61.
The Beavers led 35-30 at halftime and increased the lead to 10
by going up 42-32 early in the second half. The Monks went on a

the game gave them the lead for good at 54-51. Matt St. John nailed
a big 3-pointer and the Beavers were seven for 10 from the charity
stripe over the final 1:34 to put away the 64-61 win.

with 13 points and was 3-5 in three-point attempts, while Eatmon
finished with 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds. JR
