Ben is a junior walk-on from Rockport, Maine ... he combines a good knowledge for the game with a soft shooting touch ... fundamentally sound on both ends of the floor ... has an outstanding work ethic on and off the court ... has worked to improve his overall game ... his biggest challenge will be making the adjustment from playing at a small high school ... that adjustment will determine how much playing time he receives ... a very hard worker who is extremely coachable, spent the entire off-season in the weight room ... his hard work and intensity is contagious and no doubt led to his placement on the team ... sure to be a crowd favorite.

High School: Arrived at Saint Joseph's after prepping at Rockland High School ... his contributions to the team included such well rounded statistics as 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists, and he garnered both a KVAC All-Conference award and the Courier Gazette First Team award ... his most prolific game came versus Mount View, when he poured in 33 points in a prelim game ... averaged 24 points and 3 rebounds his senior season ... was also a four-year varsity member for the Rockland Tigers baseball and soccer programs.
