Worcester, Mass. - Becker College
(2-0-1) outshot St. Joe's 24-10 en route to a 3-0 victory on
Saturday. Will Paese (Waldwick, NJ) scored twice for Becker and
Alcy Riche (Hillside, NJ) added a goal for the Hawks.
The Monks (1-1-1) were without the services of junior
Harrision Deah (Monrovia, Liberia) who had to sit
out due to a red card from the previous game. Senior Joe
Valente (Franklin, MA) had three shots while freshmen
Lane Hubacz (Mapleville, RI) and Kevin
Melega (Easthampton, MA) added two shots for St.
Joe's.
Senior keeper Brian White (Colebrook, NH) had six
saves for the Monks.
The team returns to action at 7 PM on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Maine
Maritime.
