STANDISH, MAINE - The announcement of the 2006 Division III
All-Independent Fall Teams came from Kansas City, Missouri, this
week. The Association consists of 17 Division III independent
institutions that have joined together to recognize
student-athletes at independent institutions and to provide
exempted postseason championship competition in seven sports.
From Saint Joseph's, sophomore Kevin Melega
(Easthampton, Mass.) was selected to the All-Independent Men's
Soccer First Team, and senior David Hakes
(Whitefield, N.H.) and freshman Eamonn Harrigan
(Caribou, Me.) earned Honorable Mention recognition.
