STANDISH, ME - JR Defender Lane Hubacz
(Mapleville, RI) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic
Conference Second Team. Hubacz's defensive skills
helped the Monks (5-11-3, 3-7-1 GNAC) in their late season surge to
earn the #7 seed in the GNAC tournament. The junior also scored 3
goals for St. Joe's.
"Lane is a tough defender who makes it difficult for opponents to
score," adds Head Coach Michael Bolanz. "He is also very good in
the air off set pieces and really matured as a junior, making a big
difference in his game."
