Ford Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College freshman Gus Ford (Falmouth, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Ford earns his first weekly conference honor after scoring a goal and adding an assist in a 5-1 victory at Colby-Sawyer College on Wednesday. In 15 games this fall, the first-year standout has netted four goals with two assists for 10 total points.

Saint Joseph's, 12-1-2 overall with an 11-0-0 mark in conference play, caps the regular season on Wednesday with a home game versus GNAC foe Dean College. Kick-off is slated for 6:00 PM.
