Doiron was named as the Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach during the 2020-21 academic year.

Doiron previously served as the 1st Assistant Coach for Maine Maritime Academy during the 2018-19, and 2019-20 season. During his two seasons coaching at Maine Maritime he helped lead the Mariners to two Regular Season Titles and one finals appearance. During his tenure at MMA he and the rest of the coaching staff were awarded the coaching staff of the year award for both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.

As a player, Doiron was a four year varsity athlete for Maine Maritime Academy including captaincy during his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. During his senior year Doiron was named an all conference player, an all tournament player, and was the first player in program history to be invited to the regional senior bowl all-star game.

Having played against and been following this program during my last six years as a player and coach I know how successful and deeply integrated the positive cultures of this institution are. I’m thrilled to be able to help continue that success and share my passion for the game with this team.”
