After adding women’s soccer in 1988 and men’s soccer in 1990, Saint Joseph’s College constructed the school’s first playing field on campus located along Westerlea Way in 1990. There are bleacher seats for 300 spectators and ample space for lawn chair seating. The upperclassman dormitory Feeney Hall overlooks the field, creating an intense crowd for each game. A new scoreboard and scorer's building with a camera perch was added prior to the 2009 fall season. Westerlea Way Field has hosted numerous Championship soccer matches since its construction in 1990.
