Monks Conclude Indoor Season at New England Regionals

STANDISH, Maine – Several members of the Saint Joseph's College indoor track & field teams competed in the NCAA DIII New England Championships on Saturday. The men ran at MIT while the women raced at Middlebury College.

For the women, freshman Kelsey Barrett (Gardiner, Maine), sophomore Kyrie Harnden (Wilton, Maine), freshman Meghan Burke (Falmouth, Maine), and freshman Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.) finished 22nd in the 4x200-Meter relay with a 2:00.87 effort.

On the men's side, sophomore Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.), senior Connor Dufour (Augusta, Maine), junior Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine), and senior Taidghe Hagan (Reading, Mass.) placed 14th with an 11:55.77 performance in the 4000-Meter distance medley relay.

The Monks have concluded the indoor season and begin preparing for the outdoor campaign this week.
