Men's Track & Field Incoming Class Announced

STANDISH, Maine – Director of Cross Country and Track and Field Mike Burleson has announced the Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track and Field Class of 2027.

Burleson, who is entering his first year as Director of Cross Country and Track and Field, has brought in 23 athletes from four different states with his efforts this past year while working in a part-time capacity. With only four graduating seniors leaving last May the Monks are well-equipped with this incoming class.

"Our coaching staff is incredibly excited about this incoming class of student-athletes. This is the largest recruiting class in program history and is a dynamic group that brings talent, skill and leadership" adds Burleson. "With strong teams a year ago for both the men's and women's programs, their arrival will elevate the program to the next level. We look forward to getting to work and seeing their impact both on and off the track."

The men's program achieved back-to-back GNAC Championship titles in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field in 2023.
