Outdoor Season Concludes at NCAA Regional

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Saint Joseph's College wrapped up the 2016 outdoor season with an appearance in the NCAA DIII New England Regional Championship at Springfield College on Saturday.

The Monks featured one entry in the regional event, as junior Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine), sophomore Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.), freshman Avery Liotta-Henderson (Waterbury, Conn.), and senior Taidghe Hagan (Reading, Mass.) competed in the 4 x 800-Meter relay. The quartet finished 20th with an 8:54.47 effort and shattered the program record by over 30 seconds in the event.

The season finale concludes the collegiate running career for Hagan - the Monks' lone senior and four-year contributor for the SJC cross country and track & field programs.
