Joe DiSalvo ‘15 began at Saint Joseph’s College in July 2016 after a one-year stint as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He recently completed his USATF Level 1 Coaching Certification.

While at Ithaca, DiSalvo helped lead the Cross Country and Indoor Track & Field teams to Empire 8 Conference Championships as well as a runner-up effort in Outdoor Track & Field. These accomplishments helped the Bombers’ staff earn Empire 8 Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the 2015 Cross Country season. Ithaca also sent individuals to the NCAA Division III National Championship meet for all three seasons during DiSalvo’s tenure.

Prior to his time at Ithaca, DiSalvo was a three-season athlete for the Monks. He was a three-year captain at St. Joe’s and earned multiple conference accolades across his four years. DiSalvo was also a member of the inaugural track and field season for the Monks.

A Derry, NH native, DiSalvo earned his Masters of Science in Human Performance from Ithaca College and his Bachelors of Science from Saint Joseph’s College. DiSalvo currently resides in Standish.
