Coach Michael Roscoe has been a coach at Saint Joseph’s College for two years, assisting on both the Men’s and Women’s Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field teams. Roscoe played a big role in the 2022-23 Men’s Indoor Track & Field GNAC Championship victory on the men’s side. 

Prior to SJC, Roscoe coached at the University of Southern Maine for 4 years and Wesley College in Dover Delaware for 5 years coaching sprints, hurdles, relays, and combined events. As part of the coaching staff, he coached:

Roscoe assisted in the Wesley College Men’s Team being crowned 2018 Outdoor Track and Field ECAC Champions

He directly coached a 4-time NCAA Division III All-American in the Men’s Hurdles and 2-time NCAA Division III All-American Men’s Heptathlon.

 

Prior to Wesley College Coach Roscoe had a successful career coaching at the high school level. As an assistant coach at Caesar Rodney High School, he assisted the girl’s team to 11 consecutive undefeated seasons. His teams had state champions in sprints, hurdles, high jump, 4x200, and 4x400 Relays. He coached National Qualifiers in the 100m, 4x100 Relay, Triple Jump, and High Jump. As head coach for the Caesar Rodney High School girl’s indoor team, he was named the Girls’ Team Indoor Coach of the Year in 2007 and again in 2008 and led them to back-to-back undefeated seasons.

 

Coach Roscoe retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than 20 years of service and earned his Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware and his Masters Degree in School Counseling.
