KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saint Joseph 's College first-year
pitcher/second baseman Gabrielle Burrola (Gallup,
N.M.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents
Softball Player of the Week.
Burrola struck out four batters, singled, and scored a run in a 6-4
win over Maine Maritime. She went 2-for-3 from the plate with a
pair of RBI and a run scored in game two as Saint Joseph 's won
10-5. After the 2-0 week, Burrola improves to 4-5 on the year with
an ERA of 1.93.
