Moore Nets Pair of Honor Roll Accolades

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's sophomore forward Lindsay Moore (Barrington, N.H.) has been listed on the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) and Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) weekly honor rolls.

Moore averaged 15.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in three victories last week and poured in a career-high 26 points off a stellar 12-14 shooting effort in a lopsided win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday. Moore's play was pivotal for the Monks during the team's seven-game winning streak.

Currently, Moore paces the Monks in field goal percentage (.526) and ranks second on the team in rebounding (6.2 RPG) and field goals made (72) and third in scoring (10.0 PPG), field goal attempts (137) and minutes played (24.5 MPG).

Moore is the third Saint Joseph's player over the last three seasons to receive NEWBA honors. Carolyn Freeman '10 and current Assistant Coach Meghan Daigle '11 also earned the weekly regional accolade during the 2009-10 campaign.

Saint Joseph's will play at Simmons College in a conference contest on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
