STANDISH, Maine – The 2017-18 Saint Joseph's College women's basketball team recently completed one of the most successful seasons in program history, with several team and individual records falling and a litany of national rankings. With the season now in the rearview, let's take a look back, BY THE NUMBERS:

0 - Zero conference losses, 16-0 in GNAC play - first undefeated conference season since the Monks ran the table in Maine Athletic Conference (MAC) play with a 12-0 mark in 2001-02

.373 – three-point field goal percentage, the second highest rate from downtown in team history (team record is 37.6%, 1992-93)

.455 – field goal percentage, the best mark by an SJC team since the 1994-95 team shot 44.8% from the floor (team record is 46.9%, 1986-87)

.732 – free throw percentage, the highest rate since the 1990-91 team established the team record with a 73.4% mark

.933 - winning percentage, best mark in program history and fifth-highest rate in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball this year

1 - victory in the NCAA Tournament, a come-from-behind 61-56 opening-round triumph over UMass.-Boston on March 2nd, the first NCAA postseason win in team history

3 - consecutive GNAC Championships - marking the third time in team history the Monks have captured three straight conference crowns (WMAC, 1986-88 & 1990-1993)

3 - seniors on the 2017-18 roster: Emily DeLuca (Gorham, Maine), Brianne Maloney (South Portland, Maine), and Regan McFerran (Albany, N.Y.) - a trio that helped Saint Joseph's post an incredible 91-23 (.798) overall record, including a 48-7 (.873) mark in conference play, with three GNAC Championships while donning the Royal Blue

3 - Coach of the Year accolades for Head Coach Mike McDevitt '83, who garnered GNAC, Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA), and New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) honors this winter - McDevitt has now claimed 13 'Coach of the Year' awards during his 26-year career

3 - All-Conference honorees: First Team Kelsi McNamara (West Newbury, Mass.), Second Team Emily Benway (Rochester, N.H.), and Third Team/Defensive Player of the Year Julia Champagne (Brunswick, Maine)

4 - the Monks were ranked fourth in in all three of the NCAA DIII Northeast Regional Poll releases this winter - behind three teams that advanced to the national tournament's Elite 8: #1 Amherst College, #5 Bowdoin University, and #8 Tufts University

5 - different players notched at least one double-double: Benway (5), Champagne (4), McNamara (2), McFerran (1), and Jordan Jabar (Waterville, Maine) (1)

5 - the Monks ranked fifth in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball in scoring margin (23.4), three-pointers made (252), and winning percentage (93.3%)

7 - McNamara finished the season ranked seventh in the country in total assists (169) and three-pointers made (90)

11 - top-20 NCAA statistical team rankings (A/TO ratio, assists, FG%, points, scoring defense, scoring margin, 3FG defense, 3FG made, 3FG per game, 3FG%, winning percentage)

13 - players on the 2017-18 roster: three seniors, five juniors, three sophomores, and two freshmen

14 - three pointers made in an 80-63 victory over Husson University, a new team record

15 - led the GNAC in 15 different statistical categories

18 – 20-win seasons in Coach McDevitt's 26-year career

20 - St. Joe's scored 70 or more points in 20 different games, the highest total of contests with at least 70 points in a season since 1993-94, when the Monks hit 70 on 23 occasions

21 - consecutive wins over GNAC opponents

23.4 - average margin of victory, the fifth highest in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball this season

27 - game winning streak, longest in program, SJC Athletics, and GNAC Women's Basketball history

28 - victories, the most in program history

30 - points scored by McNamara against Amherst - the first opposing player to net 30 points against Amherst since Sydney Moss (daughter of former NFL star Randy Moss) scored 38 to help Thomas More College defeat the Mammoths, 74-65, in the 2016 NCAA DIII National Championship

32 - after defeating UMass.-Boston in the first round, the Monks were one of just 32 teams still playing in the national tournament; there are 435 NCAA DIII Women's Basketball programs

35 – weekly and postseason accolades garnered by SJC players this season

37 - consecutive victories at the Harold Alfond Center, the longest home winning streak in team history and second longest in SJC Athletics history behind the 50-game string recorded by the men's basketball program (1989-95)

40 - for the first time in program history, three different SJC players drained at least 40 three-pointers during the same season: McNamara (90), Marks (59), and Champagne (45)

47 - points scored by the Monks on March 3rd in a narrow NCAA Tournament loss to eventual National Champion Amherst College - only three teams mustered more points against the Mammoths - winners of 66-consecutive games - this winter (Eastern Connecticut - 54, Chapman - 58, Thomas More - 48)

66 – the number of weekly and postseason accolades McNamara has garnered through three collegiate seasons

74.7 – points per game average, the highest mark since the 2000-01 team averaged 75.1 PPG (the team record is 89.2 PPG, 1989-90)

79 – consecutive games in which the Monks have made at least two three-pointers

90 - three-pointers made by McNamara this season, a new program record topping her previous SJC mark of 79 set during the 2016-17 campaign

234 - career three-pointers made by McNamara - a new program record; the junior guard broke the Monks' previous career mark (180, held by Megan McDevitt '12) in a win over Mount Ida on January 16th

252 - three-pointers made by the Monks this winter, the most trifectas in program history and fifth most in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball

521 – assists posted by the Monks this season, the most since the 1991-92 team dealt 566 dimes (team record is 691, 1986-87)

528 - career victories for Coach McDevitt (528-193, .732)

676 - three-pointers attempted by St. Joe's this season, the most shots from beyond the arc in team history

792 – Field goals made this season, the most since the 1991-92 team dropped 1,013 buckets (team record is 1,056, 1989-90)

1,431 - career points for McNamara, who became the seventh player in team history to reach the 1,000-point mark during their junior season; she currently ranks eighth on the Monks' all-time scoring docket

2,240 – points scored by the Monks this season, the most scored by SJC since the 1991-92 team netted 2,619 during the 1991-92 season (team record is 2,677, 1989-90)

3,727 - total career points for McNamara, Benway, Champagne, and Hannah Marks (Waldoboro, Maine) - the quartet is in line to shatter the program's graduating class four-year total record (4,027 - Bouchard, Treadwell, Clark, Joler) next winter

74,507 – points the Monks have scored in the 41-year history of the women's basketball program
