STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College Field Hockey freshman
Elizabeth Andersen (Cumberland,
ME/Greely) has been chosen as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie
of the Week.
Andersen netted her first collegiate goal in
dramatic fashion as the first-year player notched the game-winning
tally in double-overtime against Husson University on Saturday.
The first-year midfielder has played in five games, with two
starts, so far this season.
The Monks, now 5-1 and 2-0 in NAC contests, will host
non-conference Wheelock College on Thursday at 4:00 PM.
