2011: Started 17 games...paced the Monks in goals (15), points (32), shots (87), shots on goal (60) and game-winning goals (5)…also tallied four “first goals,” two game-tying goals, and a pair of hat tricks…scored three times in her first game at Saint Joseph’s – a 3-1 victory over Anna Maria College on September 5th…netted the game-winner against Kean University five days later…recorded her second hat-trick effort of the year with a trifecta in a win over New England College on September 24th…tallied two scores in a blowout win over Rivier College on September 25th and found the back of the cage twice in a 3-1 triumph over Thomas College on October 8th…produced a goal and an assist in a narrow loss to at the hands of Castleton State College on October 22nd…collected ECAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on September 12th…named NAC Player of the Week on September 12th and October 3rd…earned First Team All-NAC honors. 

High School: Played four years of varsity field hockey for Gail Wight at Telstar Regional High School while also participating in varsity softball and alpine skiing for four years…selected as a field hockey All-Star her junior and senior years...also garnered First Team honors for softball as a junior and senior and First Team honors in Alpine Skiing all four years.

Before St. Joe’s: Played in 17 games for Simmons College in 2010…paced the Sharks with 11 goals, 28 points and four game-winning goals…also tallied six assists.

Personal: Tara Jackson Cowin, born on June 27, 1992 in Great Barrington, Mass…daughter of Fred and Deb Cowin...majoring in Liberal Studies.
