2012: One of five players to start all 17 games for the Monks…led the team in goals (8), assists (8), points (24), shots (63) and shots on goal (41)…garnered Second Team All-NAC honors…kicked off her junior season with a career day, netting a pair of goals, including the winner, in a 3-0 triumph over Eastern Connecticut State University on September 1st…recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win over Rivier University on September 23rd…dealt a career-high two helpers in a 3-2 loss to Husson University on October 3rd…tallied the game-winner with a 57th-minute goal in a 1-0 victory over Salem State University six days later…registered a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Colby Sawyer College on October 21st…netted the Monks’ lone goal in a 2-1 season-ending loss at the hands of New England College in a NAC Quarterfinal contest on October 27th.

2011: Played in all 19 games and made six starts in her second collegiate season…netted three goals and three assists for a career-high nine total points…scored a personal-best three points with a goal and an assist in a 4-0 triumph over Colby-Sawyer on October 23rd…netted the second game-winner of her two-year career in a 1-0 NAC Tournament semifinal victory over New England College on November 2nd. 

2010: Played in all 19 games and made four starts as a freshman…netted three goals with an assist for seven total points…scored her first career goal in a 3-1 win over Lasell College on September 11th…registered her first game-winner in a 3-2 triumph over NAC-rival Castleton on October 3rd…added her first collegiate assist in a 2-1 victory over Salem State on October 13th.

High School: Played two years of varsity field hockey for Mim Ryan at Timberlane Regional High School, making the Class L playoffs both years and winning the Class L State Championship in 2009…also played lacrosse…earned the Coaches’ Award and Unsung Hero honor during her high school career.

Personal: Rachelle Marie Messuri, born on April 29, 1992 in Atkinson, NH…daughter of Karen and Dan Messuri...majoring in Business Marketing. 

Why she chose Saint Joseph’s College: “The pretty campus.”

What she does outside of field hockey: Plays lacrosse and swims in the lake.
