McCluskey, Veilleux, & Seavey Named as Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

GILBERT, Ariz. – Saint Joseph's College senior Kylee Veilleux (Sabattus, Maine), freshman Cailin Seavey (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine), and Molly McCluskey (Orono, Maine) have earned Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction accolades.

The Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Overall, 321 student-athletes claimed the high academic honor this year.

Veilleux, a Secondary Educations/Mathematics major, has collected the national academic award for the third-consecutive season and is one of just 59 NCAA DIII players across the country to have claimed the high honor in each of the last three seasons.

As a freshman Medical Biology/Pre-PA major, Seavey and as freshman nursing major, McCluskey are first-time Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction recipients.
