On October 3rd, 2010 the Saint Joseph's College field hockey team outlasted Castleton State, 3-2, in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest at Mercy Field.

NOTEWORTHY:

Senior goalkeeper Meaghan Johnson (Portland, Maine/Cheverus) made a career-high 20 saves in the hard-fought victory
Kayla Nowell (Bridgton, Maine), Sarah Bartell (Exeter, N.H.), and Rachelle Messuri (Atkinson, N.H.) scored the Monks' goals
Courtney Rague (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) tallied a pair of assists
Castleton held the advantage in shots (27-22), shots on goal (22-19), and penalty corners (24-6)
All SJC teams have combined to notch a 22-18 (.550) composite record on this date
