BIDDEFORD, ME - The Saint Joseph's men's swim team fell to the
University of New England club team on Tuesday evening, 102-43.
Pat DeCola ‘09 (Methuen,
MA) and Kevin Towne ‘12
(Shrewsbury, MA) both contributed 12 points, while Kieran
O'Connell ‘12 (Gloucester, MA) provided 11 and
Brian Grasser ‘12 (Groton,
CT) earned 10 points.
Towne collected a pair of second place finishes in
the 200-IM (2:30.04) and 200-Back (2:19.53) events and set new team
records in both competitions. DeCola also produced
two second place efforts with 27.99 time in the 50-Free and a
1:06.07 in the 100-Free. O'Connell posted a
6:39.50 time in the 500-Free for a second place finish and
Grasser, along with Jose
Azcona ‘12 (Nashua, NH),
Eli Ratner ‘10 (Cape
Elizabeth, ME) and Jordan Simenas
‘12 (Cambridge, MA), posted a runner-up finish in the
400-Free Relay (4:37.19).
