Men's Swimming Tackled by Pride, 102-70

WESTON, MA – The SJC Men's Swim broke four program records in a 102-70 loss to Regis College on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Bryndon Page (Windham, ME) earned a pair of individual victories and posted three team-record times in the loss.

Page collected victories in the 200-Breast (2:42.96) and 50-Fly (29.98) events and was the runner-up in the 100-Breast (1:11.28) competition. All three of the times qualify as St. Joe's team records.

Fellow rookie Thomas Smith (New Hartford, CT) notched a pair of wins and posted a new team-best time in the 1000-Free (11:22.51) event. Smith also won the 500-Free with a 5:33.24 effort.

Kevin Towne '12 (Shrewsbury, MA) continues to post impressive results with wins in the 100-Back (1:01.75), 200-Back (2:17.63) and 200-IM (2:25.51) events.

The men are off until the team travels to Bangor for a meet against Husson University on January 15th.
