Men Swim in Exhibition at Simmons College

BOSTON, MA – The Saint Joseph's men's swim team swam continued to develop with an exhibition appearance at Simmons College on Saturday.

Sophomore Chris Cullity (North Reading, Mass.) highlighted the afternoon by posting a new program-record time in the 1650-Free (19:15.54), over 13 seconds faster than the previous best (19:28.92) which was set by junior Thomas Smith (New Hartford, Conn.) in the 2012 GNAC Championship on December 2nd.

Freshman Alexander Gilvey (Windham, Maine) produced another strong showing with solid times in the 100-Free (52.54) and 100-IM (1:00.41).

The Monks return to action on February 2nd when the teams host Gordon College in a 1:00 PM start.
