ON THIS DATE: Monks Split at Gordon College

On Febuarary 3rd, 2018 Saint Joseph's College closed out the regular season with a head to head meet at Gordon College. The men posted an 87-84 victory while the women fell, 140-78, at the hands of the Fighting Scots.

The Saint Joseph's men capped the season with a 7-2 team record, the first winning record in program history.

NOTEWORTHY

  • Freshman Caleb Levine (Portland, Maine/Waynflete) won the 200-Free (2:01.98) and finished second in the 100-Fly (1:03.04)
  • Sophomore Austin Bear (Hanover, Maine) won the 50-Breast (34.09) and 100-Breast (1:18.66) and was third in the 100-IM (1:19.89)
  • Freshman Joey Christian (Scarborough, Maine) placed second in the 1000-Free (11:36.42), 100-Back (1:01.84), and 500-Free (5:38.84) events
  • Sophomore Hailey Bouyea (Lewiston, Maine) won the 100-Breast (1:26.62) and finished second in the 1000-Free (13:55.31)
  • Freshman Jasmine Dort (Essex, Mass.) was second in the 200-Free (2:24.50) and third in the 50-Free (29.85)
  • Junior Julia Rowlett (Saco, Maine) placed second in the 50-Back (33.61) and third in the 100-Back (1:13.88) and 50-Fly (33.03) events
