Three Saint Joseph's College athletes were honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference for the week ending October 7th, 2007. This marks the second week in a row that these three athletes were honored by the conference.
JR Ryan Prescott (Pittsfield, NH) was named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Prescott led the Monks to second place in the SJC Invitational and finished in second place individually with a time of 28:52.
FR Kevin Horton (Arlington, VT) earned Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors. Horton placed sixth in the SJC Invitational with a time of 30:11.
FY Katie Murphy (Baileyville, ME) was honored as Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. Murphy helped the Monks to a third place finish and was seventh overall with a time of 22:00.
