Standish, ME - The SJC Men's Cross Country Team finished in
second place out of six teams behind U-Maine Farmington on Sunday.
The Monks were paced by JR Ryan Prescott
(Pittsfield, NH), who finished the 8K race in second place trailing
U-Maine Farmington's FR Tim Millett (28:51) by just one second.
Four Monks runners placed in the top eight overall. FR
Kevin Horton (Arlington, VT) finished in sixth
(30:11), SO Jeremy Allen (Rutland, VT) followed in
seventh place (30:35) and FR Jake McNeill (Bath,
ME) crossed the finish line in eighth place (30:36). JR
Tony Myatt (Portland, ME) finished with a time of
32:24 (24th place) and SO Ray Eatmon (Huntington,
NY) worked his way to a 27th place finish (33:38).
The Men's Cross Country Team runs again Saturday, 10/13 at the
State of Maine Championship @ Twin Brooks in Cumberland, Maine. The
race begins at 11:00 AM.
