STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College hosted the
annual Alumni 5K Race on Saturday and 16 former SJC runners,
including top finisher Ryan
Prescott '09, returned to the Shores of Sebago for
the event. Jeremy Allen '10
(Rutland, VT) earned the top time for the current squad with a
19:09 effort.
Prescott, who capped his stellar four-year career
owning the top five times in Head Coach Tom
Dann's 14 seasons, won the event with a time of
17:00. Fellow 2009 graduate Vinny
Micucci placed second with an 18:44 pace.
Matt Ferguson '07 (20:15) and
Andrew Mockler '12 (Saco, ME)
(20:23) rounded out the top five finishers.
Katie Murphy '11 (Baileyville,
ME) (24:00), Shannon Marden '10
(Dover-Foxcroft, ME) (24:00) and Mary
Casinghino '10 (Manchester, NH) (24:01) were the
top women finishers in the race. Nicole
D'Atri '09 posted a 29:22 time to pace all SJC
alumnae.
