WENHAM, MA - The SJC Men's Cross Country team placed 17th with
470 points in the Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday morning.
Jeremy Allen '10 (Rutland, VT)
finished as the top Monks runner with a 28:45 effort to place 33rd
out of 221 runners. Host team Gordon College won the event with 62
points.
Greg Redfield, a freshman runner from GNAC rival Johnson &
Wales University, toured the course in 26:31 to capture the
individual crown.
Other notable St. Joe's runners include Andrew
Mockler '12 (Saco, ME) (31:59, 116th),
Andrew Moravick '10 (Biddeford,
ME) (33:14, 137th), Austin Martin
'10 (Boca Raton, FL) (34:03, 148th) and Jeffrey
Letellier '12 (Biddeford, ME) (34:13, 154th).
Saint Joseph's will host the Runnin' Monks Invitational this
Saturday, with women's race starting at 11:00 AM and the men to
follow at 11:45 AM. Maine-Presque Isle, Maine Maritime, Thomas,
UMF, Daniel Webster, Johnson & Wales, Lyndon State, Pine Manor,
Lasell, Emerson and Rivier will all be attending the event.
