First-year runners Eric Friend '11 (Portland, ME/Cheverus) and Danielle Cusack '13 (Portland, ME/Deering) earned weekly conference honors after their efforts in the UMF Invitational last weekend.
Friend placed 15th with a 24:09.41 effort in the UMF event (6K), while Cusack ran a 17:06.36 and finished 9th in the 4K women's event.
The SJC Cross Country teams will participate in the UNE Invitational on Saturday, September 11th with the women's race beginning at 10:45 AM and the men's event to follow at 11:30 AM.
