STANDISH, ME – St. Joe's senior Eric Friend (Portland, ME/Cheverus) has been listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season.
Friend, a first-year runner as a senior, paced the Monks with a 29:26 effort in the 8th Annual Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday, October 9th. He placed 9th overall in event, which was hosted by Saint Joseph's.
Friend, who garnered his first honor roll accolade on September 6th, has finished as the top SJC runner in all five races so far this season.
The Monks will participate in the State of Maine Championship meet on Saturday, October 16th.
