High School: Ran two years of varsity cross country for Steve Morrison at Academy of Wheeler…started as a sophomore and averaged a 7:05-minute mile…improved to a 6:00-minute mile average his junior year, when he posted three runner-up performances…recorded his first race victory – and first ever by Academy of Wheeler – in the last race of that season…also played basketball and Ultimate Frisbee…collected Most Athletic Award honors and Most Miles accolades…also a fine student, earned high honors every semester during his high school years.
