Fisher Tabbed as GNAC Runner of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.) has been selected as the GNAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Fisher led the Monks with a 29:35 performance and finished 24th out of 162 runners overall in the UNE Invitational on Saturday.

The 2014 GNAC Rookie of the Year and All-Conference honoree was selected as the GNAC Rookie of the Week five times last fall – for Fisher, the Runner of the Week award is a career-first.

Saint Joseph's College will compete in the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational this Saturday.
