STANDISH, ME – The SJC club track and field team participated in the Colby College Invitational outdoor meet on Saturday, April 16th. Eight athletes participated in the event for St. Joe’s.

On the women’s side, Ashley Condon placed 13th in the 1500-meter (5:42.35), Sarah Bakun finished 13th in the 100-meter dash (15.8h) and 20th in the 200-meter dash (35.35), and Anne Roberts notched a 9th-place effort in javelin throw (21.48m) with a 10th-place finish in the shot put (8.56m) and a 14th-place performance in the discus (17.88m).

Jamie Wojtkiewicz was 10th in javelin throw (20.60m), 12th in discus (21.06m), 15th in shot put (6.48m) and Cassie Theriaque placed 11th in the javelin throw (19.79m), 13th in discus (19.34m) and 14th in shot put (7.46m).

For the men, Adam Gaulin finished 4th in the 400-meter dash (1:01.36), Josh Herbein was 8th in the 100-meter dash (11.8h), and Jared Azuley placed 10th in the 200-meter dash (27.67) and 12th in the 100-meter dash (13.0h).
