Four Monks Earn USCSA All-Reynolds Division Honors

STANDISH, Maine – Four Saint Joseph's College alpine skiers have garnered United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) All-Reynolds Division honors for their performances this winter.

Freshman Annie Cerminaro (Unityville, Pa.) has earned First Team All-Reynolds Division accolades while first-years Jillian Luby (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Sarah Lachance (Auburn, Maine) and sophomore Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) are listed on the Second Team.

Cerminaro claims First Team honors after finishing as the Monks' top individual in all 11 of the team's events this winter. She capped the season ranked fifth in the Reynolds Division with 521 race points and posted five top-three finishes, including a runner-up performance in the program's first-ever varsity race at Black Mountain on January 18th.

Luby posted three top-10 finishes, including sixth and seventh place efforts at Titcomb Mountain, and – with 216 total race points - missed the First Team cut by just 18 points.

Lachance produced a trio of top-15 performances this winter and claims Second Team mention with 127 points while Hotchkiss tallied 124 points and finished in the top-15 in a pair of events during her sophomore season.

Led by Head Coach Margot Cosentino, the Monks enjoyed a stellar season as a first-year varsity program and posted five third-place finishes as a member of the Reynolds Division this winter. Saint Joseph's capped the 2020 campaign with an appearance in the 2020 USCSA Eastern Regional Championships, which were held at Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley, Maine on February 22nd and 23rd.
