LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's College women's alpine ski team placed 14th with a 5:49.48 aggregate time in the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) Slalom National Championships at Whiteface Mountain on Thursday.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Sophomore Courtney Pingree (Marblehead, Mass.) placed 39th with a 1:51.14 (52.55, 58.59) time
- Freshman Madelyn Zordan (New Hartford, Conn.) finished 50th with a 1:54.46 (53.99, 1:00.47) effort
- Sophomore Maeghan Perkins (Turner, Maine) was 69th (2:03.88, 58.42 – 1:05.46)
- Senior Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) placed 71st (2:04.02, 59.51 – 1:04.51)
- Sophomore Erica Irvin (Windham, N.H.) posted a 55.94 time on the first run but did not complete the second stint

The Saint Joseph's women's squad will race in the Dual Slalom National Championship on Saturday while the SJC men return to the slopes tomorrow to race in the Slalom National Championships.
