HENNIKER, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College women's alpine ski team placed second with 14 team points and a 4:47.50 composite time in a slalom race at Pats Peak on Saturday.
UMaine-Farmington won the event with 11 team points and a 4:46.76 aggregate performance. UMF's Hokulani Caroselli (1:43.70) and Lauren Kessen (1:46.99) placed first and second, respectively, while SJC sophomore Madelyn Zordan (New Hartford, Conn.) finished third with a 1:47.59 (53.32, 54.27) effort.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Sophomore Maddie Zordan (New Hartford, Conn.) placed third with a 1:47.59 (53.32, 54.27) effort to pick up her third podium finish of the season and sixth of her college career
- Junior Courtney Pingree (Marblehead, Mass.) was fifth with a 1:49.66 (53.66, 56.00) time
- Junior Maeghan Perkins (Turner, Maine) finished sixth (1:50.28, 55.00 – 55.28)
- Junior Erica Irvin (Windham, N.H.) placed seventh (1:52.87, 56.24 – 56.63)
- Freshman Sienna Mack (Lincoln, N.H.) was ninth (1:57.09, 59.44 – 57.65)
- Sophomore Lillian Souweine (Bangor, Maine) finished 17th (2:08.21, 1:03.73 – 1:04.48)
