PORTLAND, ME - The Saint Joseph's College women's lacrosse team
earned their third win of the season on Saturday evening when they
defeated Green Mountain College (VT) 21-4 at Fitzpatrick Stadium.
FY Alyssa Marchant (Wakefield,
MA) tallied 5 goals and 7 assists and teammate SO
Lauren Hagerman (Scarborough, ME)
registered 4 goals and 6 assists in the lopsided victory.
St. Joe's scored six consecutive goals in the opening
seven-and-a-half minutes to gain an early 6-0 cushion on the
scoreboard. The Lady Monks played a clean transition game by
converting all 11 of the team's clear attempts to help prevent a
comeback attempt by the Lady Eagles.
Including Marchant and Hagerman,
eight different players found the back of the net for St. Joe's in

tallied 2 goals and an assist. SO Katie

Lilly Rodden (Lebanon, ME)
notched a goal and two assists. FY Sheila
Brennick (Bath, ME) posted two assists and FY
goalkeeper Chynna Nicholas
(Acushnet, MA) made 8 saves to record her second win of the season.
