STANDISH, ME – SJC Women’s Lacrosse senior midfielder Lauren Hagerman (Scarborough, ME) has received regional recognition after being named ECAC Division III New England Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Hagerman, who garnered GNAC top player honors on Monday for her performance in a 2-0-1 week for the Monks, netted 15 goals and six assists during the three contests, including the 100th goal of her career with her eighth tally in a 22-14 win over Becker College on Sunday. She added 14 draw controls, 11 groundballs and six caused turnovers to her offensive output last week.

Through six games for the 5-0-1 Royal Blue, the 2009 All-GNAC First Team honoree has tallied 24 goals, 13 assists, 37 points, 25 groundballs, 23 draw controls and eight caused turnovers. She leads the squad in points, assists, draw controls and caused turnovers.

For Hagerman, the weekly regional accolade is the first of her career. She shares the ECAC honor with Allie Bazzano, a senior midfielder from Springfield College.

The Monks will host Norwich University in a GNAC contest at Deering Memorial Stadium on Friday at 7:00 PM.
