Women's Lacrosse Announces 2024 Class

Women's Lacrosse Announces 2024 Class

STANDISH, Maine - Head Coach David Keenan is pleased to announce the Saint Joseph's College women's lacrosse Class of 2024.

Keenan, who will begin his second season at helm for the Monks next spring, has proven to be a tireless recruiter and is bringing in a large class - 12 players from four different states - to help rejuvenate his roster with talent, athleticism, and depth. The incoming class includes six attackers, four midfielders, and two defenders.

In his first year as the Monks' clipboard carrier, Keenan led the Royal Blue to a 4-1 record with wins over Husson, Maine Maritime, Southern Maine, and UMaine-Farmington. St. Joe's closed out the truncated campaign with three-consecutive victories.

"I'm incredibly excited to welcome this amazing group of student-athletes to our lacrosse program'" adds Coach Keenan. "Each has expressed the desire and commitment to contribute to the strong culture that we are developing on and off the field. I could not have dreamed of a nicer group of young ladies to be joining our team. They will also be welcomed by a very special group of players who were off to a great start this past season. Together, I know they're going to take an already good program to the next level."
