Coast Guard Shuts Out St. Joe's, 0-1

NEW LONDON, CT - Freshman Katie Kurek's goal 4:34 into the first overtime gave Coast Guard a 1-0 win over St. Joseph's of Maine in a non-conference game. The goal was the third this season for Kurek, all of them have been game winners in 1-0 Coast Guard wins.

Sophomore Trish Ohle made just two saves in recording her fourth shutout of the season for Coast Guard (4-4). Freshman Monica Cuda made five saves for the Monks (3-3).

Coast Guard outshot St. Joseph 's 9-5.
