HENNIKER, N.H. – Senior Aaliyah WilsonFalcone (Winthrop, Maine) scored three goals to launch Saint Joseph's College (5-6-2, 5-4-2 GNAC) past New England College (2-10-1, 2-9-0 GNAC), 3-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer contest on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Monks controlled the pace of play for the majority of the game and claimed an early lead when WilsonFalcone hit pay dirt off an Ava Caron (Boxford, Mass.) pass at the 8:51 mark.

WilsonFalcone struck again at the 29-minute mark with a tally off a Lelia Weir (Bar Harbor, Maine) pass and completed the hat trick performance in the 49th minute off a Darcy Wright (Salem, N.H.) feed.

WilsonFalcone is the 11th player in program history to net three goals in a game and first since former teammate Madison Michaud '23 accomplished the feat against Rivier on October 19th, 2022.

TEAM STATS:

Saint Joseph's held the lead in shots (27-7), shots on goal (11-4), and corner kicks (12-4) in the triumph.

SJC senior starter Carly Downey (Yarmouth, Maine) made a pair of saves before being lifted in favor of sophomore Mackenzie Howard (Kennebunk, Maine), who turned away two shots in 24:09 between the pipes.
