Standish, ME - The St. Joe's Women trampled the
Pine Manor College Gators on Saturday by a score of 9-2, marking
their highest scoring total of the season. Monks FY
Elizabeth McCarthy (Portsmouth, RI) scored the
first two goals of the game and tallied an assist on the Monks'
third goal which was scored by fellow freshman Mikayla
Call (Portland, ME).
In the winning effort, SR Jill Leger (Westminster,
MA) scored a goal and added two assists and SR Allison
Walton (Meredith, NH) scored two goals in the game. FY
Anna Flynn (Scituate, MA) scored her 3rd goal of
the season and FY Allie Smith (Belgrade, ME) added
her 2nd goal of the year. FY Jessica Needham (E.
Bridgewater, MA) notched both a goal and an assist in the blowout
and JR's Heather Stanger (Rockport, MA) and
Caitlin Foley (Wilmington, MA) each registered one
assist. The Monks outshot the Gators 23-4.
The Saint Joseph's College Women's Soccer team plays their final regular season game on Tuesday, 10/23 at home against GNAC rival Norwich University. Game time is 3:00 PM
