STANDISH, ME - Head Women's Soccer Coach Mike Bolanz has announced the 2007 team award winners. Senior Defender Jillian Leger (Westminster, MA) was honored with the Most Valuable Player award. FY Mikayla Call (Portland, ME) led the 16-2-3 team with 15 goals to earn the "Golden Boot Award," which goes to the team's leading goal scorer. The Unsung Player Award went to SR Allison Walton (Meredith, NH) and FY Elizabeth Theberge (Danvers, MA) garnered the Rookie of the Year Award. SO Brianna Jordan (Scarborough, ME) received the "Impact Player Award," which goes to the player who consistently makes the biggest impact on the field and provides the team with intangibles that may not show in the boxscore.
