Theberge Selected Second Team All-Conference

STANDISH, ME – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has released the 2010 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and Saint Joseph's senior midfielder Elizabeth Theberge (Danvers, MA) has earned Second Team honors.

Theberge, a First Team All-GNAC honoree as a freshman, was one of six Monks to start all 17 games this fall and tallied two goals and two assists as a senior. A four-year starter, Theberge logged eight goals, nine assists and 104 shots in 70 career games for Saint Joseph's.

The GNAC also honors a player from each team and every sport with a Sportsmanship award. Junior defender Katelyn Call (Portland, ME/McAuley) has been selected to represent Saint Joseph's on the Sportsmanship Team after consistently demonstrating the tenets of sportsmanship during the 2010 women's soccer season.

The Monks went 7-9-1 overall and played to a 5-6-1 tilt in GNAC contests this fall under seventh-year Head Coach Michael Bolanz '00. With a roster featuring 17 freshmen and sophomores, the Royal Blue narrowly missed the GNAC Tournament for the first time in four seasons as a league member.
