Daigle Chosen as GNAC Player of the Week

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's College junior forward Danielle Daigle (Dayton, Maine) has been chosen as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Daigle broke out offensively in a pair of SJC victories last week. The junior captain scored her first goal of the year in a 2-0 victory over Maine-Farmington on Tuesday and potted both of the Monks' markers in a 2-1 triumph over GNAC-rival Johnson & Wales University on Saturday.

For Daigle, the weekly conference honor is the second of her career. She earned GNAC and ECAC New England player of the week accolades on October 15th, 2012.

Saint Joseph's (3-1-0, 1-0-0 GNAC) is set to play at Thomas College tonight at 7:00 PM.
