GNAC Tabs Butler as Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College freshman Hannah Butler (Melrose, Mass.) has been named as the GNAC Corvais Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Butler scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 89th minute, versus Suffolk University on Wednesday.

Through 15 games, Butler has netted three goals with an assist and is tied for fourth on the team with seven total points. The GNAC weekly award is the first of her collegiate career.

Saint Joseph's (8-5-2, 5-1-2 GNAC) will play at Norwich University on Saturday in a conference contest slated to kick off at 3:30 PM.
