DaGraca & DeLuca Honored by United Soccer Coaches

STANDISH, Maine – The United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors have been released and a pair of Saint Joseph's College women's players have earned accolades. Junior forward Haley DaGraca (Saco, Maine) and senior defender Emily DeLuca (Gorham, Maine) have claimed Second Team All-New England honors, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

DaGraca earns Second Team All-New England acclaim for the second-consecutive season after netting 17 goals with three assists for 37 total points during her junior campaign. The three-time First Team All-GNAC honoree broke the Monks' career records for goals (50) and game-winning goals (13) this fall and is on the precipice of toppling the SJC career points record, which stands at 115 points (Kathy Britton '93), with 109 over 56 games.

DeLuca claims All-New England honors for the first time after scoring five goals with two assists for 12 total points and a pair of game-winners in 20 games. The two-year team captain garnered First Team All-Conference honors this fall and appeared in 73 games during her four-year career.

Saint Joseph's, 13-6-1 overall and 7-3-1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play this fall under the watch of fifth-year Head Coach Jenelle Harris, earned the #4 seed in the conference tournament and advanced to the semifinal round for the second-consecutive season with a 4-0 first-round triumph over #5 University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). The Monks season came to a close with a setback at the hands of top-seeded Lasell College on October 31st.
